We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend user accounts, cancel orders, or restrict access to our Services if we reasonably believe that these eligibility requirements have not been satisfied or that our Services are being used in violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

Fresh Press Products are cold pressed only after your order has been confirmed and payment has been successfully received. These products are not manufactured solely for long-term shelf storage or mass distribution. Production is carried out according to our announced pressing schedule, allowing us to deliver oils that are freshly extracted and carefully packed before dispatch.

An order for Fresh Press Products enters our production workflow only after successful receipt of payment; verification of the order details, where applicable; and acceptance of the order by The Raw Seeds. Submission of an order or receipt of an automated order acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of the order. An order is considered accepted only after confirmation by The Raw Seeds.

4.5 Freshness Commitment

Our Fresh Press process is designed to minimize unnecessary storage time between extraction and dispatch. While we strive to dispatch products as soon as reasonably possible after production, actual timelines may vary due to production schedules, quality inspections, packaging requirements, courier operations, public holidays, or other operational factors.

4.6 Natural Product Variations

Our Products are derived from agricultural produce, and natural variations may occur between batches. Customers acknowledge that slight differences in colour, aroma, taste, viscosity, clarity, or the presence of natural sediment are normal characteristics of authentic cold-pressed oils and do not constitute manufacturing defects.

Such natural variations may result from factors including:

• seasonal differences in crops;
• natural characteristics of the seeds used;
• climatic conditions;
• harvesting periods; and
• traditional cold-press extraction methods.

4.7 Product Availability

All Products are offered subject to availability of raw materials, production capacity, quality standards, and operational feasibility. The Raw Seeds reserves the right to discontinue, suspend, limit, or modify the availability of any Product at any time without prior notice.

4.8 Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order, including after payment has been received, where reasonably necessary, including but not limited to:

• insufficient product availability;
• raw material shortages;
• pricing or technical errors;
• suspected fraudulent activity;
• payment verification issues;
• force majeure events;
• operational or manufacturing constraints; or
• circumstances where fulfilling the order would violate applicable laws or these Terms.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been successfully processed, the eligible amount will be refunded in accordance with our Refund Policy (see Section 8).

Accepted payment methods may change from time to time without prior notice.

Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party payment service providers. The Raw Seeds does not store your complete debit card, credit card, or banking credentials on its servers. All payment transactions are subject to the terms, security practices, and policies of the respective payment service providers.

5.7 Order Confirmation

After an order is placed, you may receive an automated acknowledgement by email, SMS, or other communication channels. Such acknowledgement confirms only that your order request has been received. It does not constitute acceptance of your order. An order is considered accepted only after The Raw Seeds has successfully verified the order, confirmed payment, and initiated processing.

5.8 Pricing Errors

Despite our best efforts, Products may occasionally be listed with incorrect prices, descriptions, promotional offers, or availability due to technical issues, typographical mistakes, or system errors. The Raw Seeds reserves the right to correct such errors and to refuse or cancel any affected order, whether or not payment has already been received. Where payment has already been processed for a cancelled order, the eligible amount will be refunded to the original payment method in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5.9 Promotional Offers

From time to time, The Raw Seeds may offer promotional discounts, coupon codes, referral benefits, loyalty rewards, or other special offers. Unless expressly stated otherwise:

• promotional offers cannot be combined with other offers;
• promotional benefits have no cash value;
• promotional offers may be withdrawn, modified, or cancelled at any time;
• misuse, abuse, or fraudulent use of promotional offers may result in cancellation of the order or suspension of the customer account.

5.10 Invoice

A tax invoice or purchase invoice, as applicable, will be issued electronically or in another suitable format after successful confirmation of your order, subject to applicable laws and tax regulations. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the billing information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.

The Raw Seeds reserves the right to cancel any order, either before or after payment, where reasonably necessary, including but not limited to:

• the Product is unavailable or out of stock;
• raw materials required for production are unavailable or do not meet our quality standards;
• payment cannot be verified or is unsuccessful;
• incorrect pricing, technical errors, or system failures;
• suspected fraudulent, unauthorized, or unlawful transactions;
• incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable customer information;
• operational constraints, manufacturing issues, or unexpected equipment failure;
• force majeure events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control;
• compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, or directions from competent authorities.

Where an order is cancelled by The Raw Seeds after payment has been successfully received, the eligible amount paid by the Customer will be refunded to the original payment method in accordance with our Refund Policy.

6.4 Modification of Orders

Requests to modify an order, including changes to Products, quantities, delivery address, or contact information, may be accepted only before the order enters production or dispatch. Once production, packaging, or shipment has commenced, modifications may not be possible. The Raw Seeds does not guarantee that requested modifications can be accommodated.

6.5 Failure to Accept Delivery

Customers are responsible for accepting delivery at the address provided during checkout. If an order cannot be delivered due to reasons attributable to the Customer (incorrect address or contact information, repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, refusal without valid reason, or failure to respond to the courier), The Raw Seeds reserves the right to treat the order as cancelled or abandoned. Any refund, if applicable, shall be determined after deducting shipping charges, return logistics costs, handling charges, or other reasonable expenses incurred.

6.6 Refund for Cancelled Orders

Where a cancellation is approved or initiated by The Raw Seeds, eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method within the timelines specified in our Refund Policy. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or banking institution, and The Raw Seeds shall not be responsible for delays attributable to such third parties.

7.1 Delivery Service

The Raw Seeds delivers Products through trusted third-party courier and logistics partners. At present, deliveries are available only to locations where our courier partners provide service coverage.

7.2 Processing and Dispatch

Orders are processed only after successful payment verification and acceptance by The Raw Seeds. For Fresh Press Products, processing includes production, natural settling (where applicable), quality inspection, packaging, and preparation for dispatch. Estimated processing and dispatch timelines displayed on the Website are indicative and may vary.

7.3 Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery dates are provided solely for customer convenience and should not be interpreted as guaranteed delivery commitments. Delivery may be affected by factors beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, weather, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, public holidays, or other unforeseen events. The Raw Seeds shall not be liable for delays arising from such circumstances.

7.4 Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, contact number, and any additional information necessary for successful delivery. Delays, failed deliveries, additional shipping charges, or cancellations resulting from incorrect information shall be the responsibility of the Customer.

7.5 Delivery Attempts

Delivery will be attempted in accordance with the policies of the respective courier partner. If delivery cannot be completed after the courier's permitted number of attempts, or if the shipment is returned due to Customer unavailability, refusal without valid reason, or incorrect address, The Raw Seeds may cancel the order, arrange re-delivery subject to additional charges, or process any eligible refund after deducting applicable costs.

7.6 Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect the package immediately upon delivery. If the package appears damaged, tampered with, leaking, or significantly compromised, the Customer should photograph the package before opening it, report the issue to The Raw Seeds as soon as reasonably possible, and retain the original packaging until the matter has been reviewed.

7.7 Risk and Ownership

Ownership of the Products transfers to the Customer only after full payment has been received and the Products have been successfully delivered to the delivery address provided by the Customer. Risk associated with the Products passes to the Customer upon successful delivery.

7.8 International Delivery

Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Raw Seeds currently supplies Products only within India. Any future international shipments shall be subject to applicable customs regulations, import duties, taxes, food import restrictions, and local laws of the destination country. Such charges, where applicable, shall be the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise specified.

7.9 Delivery Restrictions

The Raw Seeds reserves the right to decline or restrict deliveries to certain locations due to safety concerns, legal requirements, courier limitations, or operational considerations. Customers will be informed where reasonably practicable if delivery to their location cannot be completed.

8.1 Nature of Our Products

The Products offered by The Raw Seeds are edible food products manufactured, handled, and packed in accordance with applicable food safety standards. Due to their perishable and consumable nature, returns and exchanges are limited to the circumstances described in this section.

8.2 Products Not Eligible for Return

To maintain food safety, hygiene, and product integrity, Products shall not be eligible for return or exchange where:

• the Product has been opened, used, or partially consumed;
• the Product has been damaged due to improper handling or storage after delivery;
• the Customer changes their mind after delivery;
• the Customer does not like the natural taste, aroma, colour, texture, or appearance where such characteristics are consistent with authentic cold-pressed oils;
• minor natural sediment or slight batch variations are present;
• the return request is made after the applicable reporting period specified in these Terms.

8.3 Eligible Returns and Replacements

Subject to verification by The Raw Seeds, a Customer may be eligible for a replacement or refund where:

• the wrong Product was delivered;
• the Product was received in a leaking condition;
• the Product was significantly damaged during transit;
• the Product has a verified manufacturing defect;
• the Product was delivered after its printed expiry date;
• the Customer received fewer Products than ordered; or
• any other issue is determined by The Raw Seeds to warrant a replacement or refund.

8.4 Reporting an Issue

Customers should notify The Raw Seeds of any eligible issue as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and preferably within 48 hours of receiving the Product. To facilitate investigation, Customers may be required to provide the order number, photographs or videos, details of the issue, and any additional information reasonably requested.

8.5 Verification Process

Each return, replacement, or refund request will be reviewed individually. The Raw Seeds reserves the right to request additional information, inspect the returned Product where appropriate, verify the reported issue, and approve or reject the request based on the available evidence and these Terms. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

8.6 Replacement

Where a claim is approved, The Raw Seeds may, at its sole discretion, replace the Product, dispatch the missing Product, issue a partial refund, or issue a full refund, depending on the nature of the issue and the most appropriate resolution.

8.7 Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Refund processing may take 5 to 10 business days after approval, depending on the payment service provider or banking institution. The Raw Seeds is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers after the refund has been initiated.

8.8 Return Shipping

Where The Raw Seeds determines that a Product should be returned for inspection, we will provide appropriate instructions. Customers should not return Products without prior authorization. Where the return is approved due to an error attributable to The Raw Seeds, the reasonable cost of return shipping may be borne by us.

8.9 Fresh Press Products

Fresh Press Products are manufactured specifically in response to confirmed customer orders. Accordingly, such Products are generally not eligible for return or exchange solely because of personal preference, changes in taste expectations, or cancellation after production has commenced, provided the Products conform to the order placed and are free from verified defects.

8.10 Consumer Rights

Nothing contained in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies that Customers may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other mandatory law applicable in India.

9.1 Product Information

Product descriptions, nutritional information, ingredient details, and usage instructions on the Website are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as professional medical, nutritional, or healthcare advice. Customers are encouraged to read the product label carefully before use.

9.2 Natural Product Variations

Customers acknowledge that slight variations may occur between batches in colour, aroma, flavour, viscosity, clarity, natural sediment, and overall appearance. Such variations are normal characteristics of authentic cold-pressed oils and do not indicate contamination, deterioration, or manufacturing defects.

9.3 Natural Sediment

Certain Products may naturally develop light sediment or slight cloudiness during storage. This is a natural characteristic of minimally processed cold-pressed oils and does not affect quality, purity, or safety when stored and used in accordance with the instructions provided.

9.4 Storage Instructions

To maintain product quality, Customers should:

• store Products in a cool, clean, and dry place;
• keep Products away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture;
• keep the bottle tightly closed after each use;
• use clean and dry utensils when handling the Product; and
• consume the Product within the recommended shelf life printed on the packaging.

The Raw Seeds shall not be responsible for deterioration resulting from improper storage, contamination, misuse, or handling after delivery.

9.5 Shelf Life

Each Product is supplied with a manufacturing date, batch number, and best-before or expiry information in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. Customers are responsible for consuming Products within the recommended shelf life.

9.6 Allergy Notice

Certain Products may contain or be derived from ingredients that can cause allergic reactions, including groundnuts (peanuts), sesame, coconut, or other ingredients specified on the product label. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Raw Seeds and its owners, directors, employees, representatives, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of laws, misuse of the Services, fraudulent or negligent acts, infringement of third-party rights, or false information provided by you.

13.7 Duty to Mitigate

Where a Customer becomes aware of any issue relating to an order or Product, the Customer agrees to take reasonable steps to minimise avoidable loss or damage and to notify The Raw Seeds promptly.

13.8 Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable laws, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or other mandatory provisions of Indian law.

14.1 Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

The Raw Seeds shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, failure, or inability to perform obligations under these Terms where resulting from events beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”), including natural disasters, fire or accidents, pandemics, war or civil unrest, strikes, transportation or utility failures, government actions, cyberattacks, shortages of raw materials or packaging beyond our control, unexpected critical equipment failure despite reasonable maintenance, and other events beyond our reasonable control.

14.2 Suspension of Performance

Where a Force Majeure Event occurs, The Raw Seeds may suspend, delay, modify, or extend performance for the duration of the event and a reasonable period thereafter. Such suspension or delay shall not constitute a breach of these Terms.

14.3 Reasonable Efforts

The Raw Seeds will use commercially reasonable efforts to minimise the impact of any Force Majeure Event and to resume normal operations as soon as reasonably practicable. Where appropriate, we will make reasonable efforts to keep affected Customers informed of material delays.

14.4 Customer Obligations

A Force Majeure Event affecting The Raw Seeds does not automatically relieve the Customer of obligations that have already arisen, including payment for accepted orders, unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by The Raw Seeds.

14.5 Cancellation Due to Prolonged Force Majeure

If a Force Majeure Event continues such that fulfilment becomes commercially impracticable or impossible, The Raw Seeds may cancel the affected order. Where payment has already been received, the eligible amount will be refunded to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

14.6 Preservation of Consumer Rights

Nothing in this section limits or excludes any rights or remedies that Customers may have under applicable laws where such rights cannot be lawfully excluded.

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Website, Products, Services, or these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Good Faith Resolution

If you have any complaint or claim, please contact our customer support team first. Both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter through good-faith discussions before initiating formal legal proceedings.

15.4 Jurisdiction

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, the courts having jurisdiction in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website, the Products, or the Services.

15.5 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms shall restrict statutory rights under applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Customers retain the right to approach the appropriate consumer dispute redressal commission or other competent authority where provided by law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim should be brought within the period prescribed under the applicable laws of India. Nothing in this clause shall shorten any statutory limitation period that cannot legally be modified.

Where reasonably possible, during dispute resolution both parties shall continue to perform obligations not directly affected by the dispute.

15.8 Survival

Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, dispute resolution, payment obligations, and other provisions that by their nature are intended to survive shall continue after termination of these Terms or completion of an order.

16.1 Right to Modify

The Raw Seeds reserves the right to amend, update, modify, replace, or discontinue any part of these Terms at any time where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes in Products or Services, introduce new features, comply with law, improve operations, address security or fraud prevention, or clarify provisions.

16.2 Effective Date

Any revised version becomes effective from the “Last Updated” date displayed at the beginning of this document, unless a different effective date is stated. The most current version will always be available on our Website.

16.3 Customer Responsibility

Customers are encouraged to review these Terms periodically. Continued access to or use of the Website, Services, or placement of new orders after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you should discontinue using our Website and Services.

16.4 Existing Orders

The Customer may not assign rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent. The Raw Seeds may assign its rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of business, provided such assignment does not reduce legal protections available to Customers under applicable law.

You acknowledge that electronic records, emails, invoices, order confirmations, payment acknowledgements, and other electronic communications generated by The Raw Seeds shall, to the extent permitted by law, constitute valid communications and may be relied upon as evidence of transactions.
